Trevor Marriage Death, Obituary – Today marks exactly one week since Trevor Marriage passed away. His funeral was held yesterday. When we learned about it, it left us with a sickening feeling, and we tried to ignore it. Trevor was a consistent customer of ours and he was also a big fan of our company’s Facebook page. About a fairly regular basis, he would put supportive words on it, and he was also one of the people who would offer encouraging comments. It was evident that he had a profound interest in the plants that grew in the woods. Trevor was a wonderful example of a benevolent and generous person.
When we first became acquainted with him, he was serving as the School Band Master at St. Peter’s Primary School. This was the setting in which we made our initial connection with him. Both of my sons were able to find their place in the world of music with the help and direction that he provided. He must have influenced the musical tastes of tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of young people throughout the length of his career. My son Bailey was selected to take on the post of conductor at the school largely as a result of his influence, and I am very grateful to him for that.
Despite the fact that he had previously held the post of principal at the school, we were not present during the time when he was serving in that capacity. When our paths crossed, he never failed to offer a friendly grin and always took the time to strike up a discussion with me whenever we came into contact with one another. As Bailey became older, we continued to send him music that he had composed on a regular basis, and all throughout this time period, we maintained communication with him on Facebook. He continually provided replies that were upbeat and impassioned, and these responses never failed to impress.
