Padraig Brogan Death, Obituary – As a result of having just found out about Padraig Brogan’s passing, the entirety of the Inis Gluaire community is in a state of total and absolute disbelief at the news. Since 2006, Padraig has been serving as the board treasurer for the nonprofit organization ras Inis Gluaire, in which capacity he had previously been an active board member. The significant part that he played in the founding of ras Inis Gluaire, which is something that holds a great deal of significance for us, is not something that we are going to be able to forget any time in the near future. The part that he played in the founding of ras Inis Gluaire is not going to be something that we are going to be able to overlook very easily.
Because of his easygoing demeanor and his smart mind, it was a pleasure to collaborate with him on the project. He was an asset to the team in more ways than one. The time I spent working with him was very enjoyable. Padraig was not only the leader of the Erris branch of the Mayo County Council when he was stationed in Erris, but he was also an active participant in the activities of the Belmullet GAA.
This was in addition to his work as the head of the Mayo County Council branch in Erris. In addition to this, he was the primary impetus for the establishment of both the Erris Men’s Shed and the Erris Parkrun. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and pass them along to his wife Marie, their son Edward, and the rest of the extended Brogan and Neary families. Sincere sympathies are extended on behalf of everyone at ras Inis Gluaire, who is saddened to hear of the passing of a loved one. We are truly sorry for the loss that has been inflicted upon you.
