Mark Kastelanac Death, Obituary – As a direct result of the news that Mark Kastelanac, age 36, had passed suddenly unexpectedly on December 30 in Zagreb, Croatia, we are in a condition of acute and dreadful sadness. We are in this situation as a direct result of the news. Hearing the news was what ultimately led to us being aware of the situation. In none of the materials that were handed over was there any reference of the area where he had passed away; it was completely unknown. As soon as we heard the news of his leaving, we found ourselves in a condition of complete and utter shock.
Mark and his brother devoted the majority of their childhoods to playing for London St. Thomas Croatia, and Mark’s father, Srecko (Joe), has devoted a significant amount of time to serving as a club volunteer and Board Member. Mark played for London St. Thomas Croatia for the majority of his childhood. During the bulk of Mark’s childhood, he was a member of the London St. Thomas Croatia soccer team. Mark spent the majority of his childhood playing soccer with the London St. Thomas Croatia squad. He was a Croatian national. Mark’s early years were mostly spent participating in the soccer programme at London St. Thomas Croatia.
This was an important aspect of Mark’s upbringing. All of the team’s members were of Croatian descent. Those who will remember Mark after he has passed away are going to be his devoted wife and their young daughter, who will have just been 17 months old when Mark passes away. Mark’s daughter will be the only living person to have known him when he was alive.
