Larry Peasley Obituary, Veteran Chief Larry Peasley Has Died

Larry Peasley Death, Obituary – On the 4th of January, our longstanding chief Larry Peasley passed away, and we are deeply sorry to inform you of this news. He will be sorely missed by everyone. Everyone in this place was shocked when they heard about his dying away. His family and friends are going through a lot of pain right now because the news of his untimely death was devastating. Peasley made the decision to stand down from his post as Chief of the Maroa Fire Department after retiring from the department after having served there for more than four decades.

The family would like to take advantage of this opportunity to show their gratitude to everyone for the kind words and prayers that have been sent their way over the course of the preceding month. The family has been receiving a lot of support from people all over the world during this time. These services are going to be referred to as Chief Peasley’s Services from this point forward. On Monday, January 9th, from the hours of five to eight o’clock in the evening, the doors of the Calvert’s Funeral Home in Clinton will be open for those who wish to pay their condolences to the family of the deceased.

The funeral services that will be held on Tuesday, January 10, at eleven in the morning, will take place in the Maroa Methodist Church, which will serve as the location. This is extremely disturbing news, and my prayer is that God would give Janet, Tim, and JD the strength they need to get through this difficult time. I trust that God will hear your prayers and answer them. Larry was a warm-hearted and giving individual who devoted a large amount of his time and energy to the endeavor of enhancing the quality of life in this town.

He accomplished this by giving his time freely and donating his efforts to the cause. It is going to be an odd experience not to see him drive by on his golf cart and wave to me as he passes by. That is something I won’t get used to.
