Justin Mcintire Obituary, Death – Officer Justin McIntire, 46 years old, of the Brackenridge Borough police force, was killed in the line of duty on January 2, 2023 in Brackenridge. Born on December 27, 1976 in Harrison Township to Emma “Lori” Lorraine Clark McIntire, a native of Brackenridge, and John L. “Lee” McIntire, also a native of Brackenridge, he lived his entire life in the Brackenridge community. He was known as a lifelong resident of the area. He was given the name of his mother at birth.

In 2019, he was given the job of chief after having worked his way up through the ranks from patrol officer over the preceding 22 years. Chief McIntire was a dedicated officer who contributed a lot to the department. Both Highlands High School and the Allegheny County Police Academy in North Park awarded him their diplomas in the year 1994, making him a double graduate. These two establishments can be found in the North Park neighborhood.

Justin was a member of several clubs, including the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #39, the Oregon Hunting and Fishing Club, and the South Buffalo Township Sportsmen’s Club. In addition to being a member of the National Rifle Association, he also held the position of qualified firearms instructor for the National Rifle Association. He took pleasure in activities such as cooking meals, going fishing and hunting, and spending time at Camp Huckabuck. The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Pittsburgh Penguins were among Justin’s most beloved sports and teams.

His older sister, Heather Jane McIntire, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents, Clarence L. Clark and Emma J. Clark, as well as his maternal and paternal great-grandparents, John Lee and Lois Jane McIntire, all passed away prior to Justin. His maternal and paternal great-grandparents were John Lee and Lois Jane McIntire.
