He is the son of Clark and Regina Love; his birthday is August 8th, 1943, and he was born that day. Jeff wed the woman who would become the love of his life, Linda Stuchell, at the United Methodist Church in Smethport on October 1st, 1977. After getting married, they decided to make Eldred their permanent residence, and it was there that they brought up their three children: Sherri Lynn Noel of Belmont, New York, John Clark Love of Bradford, and Jill Ann Wong of Ohio.
Jeff spent his childhood in Farmers Valley and later moved to Smethport, where he attended high school and received his diploma. His work experience includes a paper route when he was younger, the Costas Grocery Store, the Quaker State Oil Refinery, Ethan Allen Furniture, carpentry and house building, and the Olean Tile Plant, from which he retired after more than 30 years of service.
He took pleasure in the time he could spend with his wife, their family, his extended family, and his church family. He enjoyed spending time in his basement, wood shop, and garage tinkering and puttering, as well as gardening, mowing the grass, reading, and studying the bible. He took great joy in imparting both his faith and his knowledge to others. Hunting and seeing the American flag he flew proudly was two of his favorite activities.
