Jarvis was a huge baseball card collector and enjoyed a wide variety of sports and activities, including bowling. Additionally, he was a sports fan in general. Whether it was at a bowling alley or a baseball stadium cheering on the Detroit Tigers, which happened to be their favorite team, he was happiest when he was able to share his interests with his children and grandchildren.
