Jarvis Joseph Chappus Obituary, Death –¬†Jarvis Joseph Chappus, who had previously lived in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on January 2, 2023 in the comfort of his own home in O’Fallon, Illinois. He was 71 years old. Jarvis Joseph Chappus had been a resident of Detroit, Michigan. The Motor City was where he got his start in life. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 27, 1951, to the late Ferdinand Chappus and Margaret (Fredette) Chappus. Both of his parents have since passed away. His grandparents, Ferdinand and Isabelle (Fredette) Chappus, took care of him after the death of his parents before he was born.

When he was still in the womb, both of his parents had already passed away, leaving him an orphan. Jarvis’s legacy includes many grandchildren, including Sydney Fuller and Alexandria Chappus, two of whom are mentioned here. In addition, he is survived by four of his siblings: Dennis Chappus (and his wife Ann), who lives in Holly, Michigan; Girarda Thack (and her husband Gary), who lives in Troy, Michigan; Cheryl Bergan, who lives in O’Fallon, Illinois; and Mary Beach (and her husband David), who lives in Williamsville, Illinois.

Jarvis was a huge baseball card collector and enjoyed a wide variety of sports and activities, including bowling. Additionally, he was a sports fan in general. Whether it was at a bowling alley or a baseball stadium cheering on the Detroit Tigers, which happened to be their favorite team, he was happiest when he was able to share his interests with his children and grandchildren.
