Cindy was born on Nov. 10, 1956 to Richard and Yvette Stewart of Van Buren. Cindy spent her youth in the County, graduating from Van Buren High School in 1975. Shortly after, she moved to Lewiston and began a life there. In 1982 Cindy gave birth to her daughter, Tracy, who was her pride and joy in life. Don and Cindy married August 4, 1991 on Cindy’s parents 50th Anniversary. 10 years later, on August 4, 2001, they were blessed with their grandson Gage; who she adored. Cindy loved her family of four, and cherished every moment with them.

Cindy loved her profession as a Real Estate Agent at Cornerstone Realty in the 1990’s, before beginning a 21-year career with TD Bank. Cindy was a positive presence, be it a happy hello, witty comment, listening ear or some words of wisdom. Cindy loved helping others, especially friends and family. She lived her life committed to people she loved. Cindy was selfless, kind and devoted. She campaigned for what was right and would constantly find ways to make things better.

She was quick-witted, powerful, driven, strong, had a fantastic sense of humor and loved a good laugh. She had a strong interest in adorning interior spaces, and she enjoyed going shopping. Her ability to locate a good deal was remarkable, and she was always on the lookout for one. Weekend drives in their 1970 Chevelle were Cindy and Don’s favorite way to spend time together. She looked forward to going out with the girls on their yearly shopping excursion and watching Hallmark movies.

She became interested in the sport, primarily for the sake of her grandchild. You could frequently hear her enthusiastic and encouraging cheering from across the rink. She was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and Friend. She was also a Grandmother.
