Cathal Carthy Death, Obituary – Everyone connected with the Clanwilliam Football Club experienced a profound sense of sadness upon learning the news that our previous club president, Cathal Mc Carthy, had gone away after hearing the news. Because he was such a kind person and because he was friends with everyone in Clanwilliam, Cathal will be fondly remembered by all of his friends and neighbours in Clanwilliam. They are all going to miss him quite a lot, especially in the beginning. Since the year 1956, Cathal had been a committed follower of Clanwilliam, and he had maintained his status as a Life Member of our organisation during the entirety of that time period.
He was always interested in staying informed about what was taking place within Clan, and we are all going to remember how much fun it was to visit Cathal and have interesting conversations with him about Clan, rugby, and sports in general. He was always interested in staying informed about what was taking place within Clan. It was determined that Cathal passed away in the year 2017, and this year was cited as being the one that was considered to be accurate. The members of the Clanwilliam Football Club would like to extend their deepest condolences to Noreen, Cathal’s wife, as well as to their children Karl, Alan, Tony, Michael, and James, as well as to the rest of the extended Mc Carthy family.
