Anna Sternbergh was one of a total of six children that were born to the union of Samuel Sternbergh and Ida (Byne) Sternbergh before Samuel’s untimely passing. The arrival of Carolyn, Annabell, and Gloria Jean into the world was directly attributable to the union in question. Anna’s sisters Annabell and Gloria Jean both passed away prior to Anna’s passing. On March 5th, 1966, in the town of Waynesville, Missouri, Anna and James W. Rickerson tied the knot and began their lives together as husband and wife. Anna passed away on December 4, 1985, nearly 20 years after her husband, James, had passed away. Anna’s husband had predeceased her. They had been married for close to twenty years at that point.
